Task 3. Picture Description.
Introduction As you know, I’ve got a little brother. He is mad about animals. Just have a look at this photo.
Main Body
As a rule, I take a lot of photos during my holidays.
Guess what? I’m going to show you one of my new photos.
As I’ve told you, my family likes travelling. Look at this photo. Isn’t it wonderful?!
You know that I often take photos for my school projects. Have a look at this one.
When you took the photo…. I took this photo last winter when I went to the mountains with my family. It was an unforgettable trip.
Look at this photo. I took it a few days ago when I was in the country with my friends. We had a wonderful time there.
I took this photo last summer. The weather was very hot and our family decided to go to the seaside.
…what/who is in the photo In the photo you can see my elder (younger) sister. Her name is Irina and she is good at… Whenever she has free time, she goes to the stadium to exercise.
In the photo you can see some children in the playground. There is a football gate behind them. The grass is bright green and the trees in the background are green too.
…what is happening. My twelve-year-old brother looks a bit older than his age. He is sitting in our country garden under a tree. The weather is fine. It’s warm and sunny. I guess he is enjoying his leisure time thinking about something important for him. He is wearing a T-shirt and shorts to feel more comfortable. The atmosphere is calm and relaxing.
…why you took the photo I took this photo because I am keen on photography and I never miss a chance to take pictures which will remind me some bright moments of my life.
Conclusion I like this photo and think it is worth to be upload to my blog. So I decided to show it to you and listen to your opinion.
Task 4. Study the two photographs. In 1.5 minutes be ready to compare and contrast them.
Introduction
There are two pictures here and now I’ll try to compare and contrast them. To begin with, both pictures show people using computers.
Main body
In the first picture we can see…and likewise picture two shows…
In the first picture we can see a man sitting in front of a laptop screen in a room, maybe at home, likewise picture two shows a group of students in the classroom. They must be having a lesson of Information Technology as they are doing some task on their computers.
The man in photo one looks happy and relaxed as he is smiling. In his left hand he is holding a credit card. I can guess he may be buying something on the internet and he is looking forward to having this thing delivered. In the other photo the students seem concentrated and working hard. Perhaps, they are doing a test. I also get the impression that some of them find it difficult, as they don’t look happy at all. On the other hand, we can see their teacher who looks considerate and is doing his best to help the students.
Conclusion
Personally, I’d prefer to do online shopping or play a computer game rather than have a lesson. However, I can’t deny students learn a lot of useful things at the lessons.
