Общедидактическая цель: развитие языковой компетенции.
Образовательный компонент цели: совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся: речевые навыки и умения монологической и диалогической речи, восприятие на слух иностранную речь.
Развивающий компонент цели: способствовать развитию творческой деятельности учеников.
Воспитательный компонент цели: расширение кругозора учащихся, приобщение учащихся к культуре и традициям англоговорящих стран.
Оборудование: интерактивная доска, лингафонное оборудование, карточки, карта мира, глобус.
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент.
- High Five (сигнал тишины и привлечения внимания)
- Good morning, boys and girls!
- Take your places. I am glad to see you! Let`s begin our lesson. Greet your face partners. Now your shoulder partners.
II. Речеваязарядка. Проблемнаяситуация.
- The series of pictures on the screen will help you to guess what we are going to speak about.
- What do you see in the first picture? (Pupil: I see three flags in the picture. The first flag on the left is the Canadian flag. The second flag is the flag of the USA. The last flag is the flag of the United Kingdom.) Cлайд 1.
- What can you see in the second picture? (Pupil: I see the symbols of some countries. The rose, the thistle, the daffodil and the shamrock are the British symbols. A maple leaf is a symbol of Canada. The bald eagle represents the USA.) Слайд 2.
- What can you see in the third picture? (Pupil: This slide shows us the places of interest of Canada, the United Kingdom and the USA.) Cлайд 3.
- Now look at all these pictures at once. What do they represent? Can you guess what we are going to speak about? Слайд 4. (Pupil: I think we are going to speak about different countries.)
- You are quite right. Today we are going to have a talk about different English-speaking countries. As you know English is the native language in the following countries: Canada, Australia, the USA, Great Britain, New Zealand. Слайд 5.
- Look at the map. More than 60 countries have English as one of their official languages. Слайд 6.
- The world of English-speaking countries is interesting, various and amazing.
III. Использование структуры Сингапурской методики «Takeoff - touchdown».
- Now let`s make Take off – touch down. Listen to me, if my statement true, you should stand up, if my statement false, you should stay on your sits.
1. The capital of the USA is Washington.
2. There are two official languages in Canada – English and Spanish.
3. Canada is famous for its deserts.
4. Great Britain is an island state.
- Excellent, thank you!
IV. Формирование навыков диалогической речи с использованием лингафонного оборудования (учащиеся объединены в пары; каждая пара получает карточку с ситуацией и должна будет её разыграть).
- Dear pupils, put on the headphones. You will work in pairs. Imagine that you are from different parts of the world. Act out the dialogue. Introduce yourself, share some information about country and invite your new friend to visit it.
- Is it clear for you?
- Let`s begin with the group «A». Bulat is from the UK and Ilnara is from Australia.
- Well done, thank you!
- The group «B», it`s your turn.
- Very well. Thank you for your dialogues.
V. Физкультминутка.
Посмотреть на карты и под музыку обводить контур карты стран частями тела: Великобританию – глазами, Австралию – носом, США – талией, Канаду – плечом, Новую Зеландию – локтем.
VI. Представление проектов. Обучение монологической речи (учащиеся представляют свою страну).
- You have made projects. I want you to present them.
VII. Рефлексия. Подведение итогов урока.
- Take this «globe». Pass it to your partner and say why we should learn other languages and cultures.
