Разработка урока для 9 класса по теме «Музыка - это часть нашей жизни». На уроке учащиеся совершенствуют навык говорения на основе прочитанного текста, знакомятся с историей рок и поп музыкой в Британии и США, разнообразными стилями музыки. Так же урок развивает умения работать как в парах, так и самостоятельно.
Ход урока
1. Вводный этап.
- Hello, I’m glad to see you. We have an interesting lesson today. You are welcome to the world of music. At the lesson we are to practice the words on our topic, to make up dialogues, to describe your feelings, to match the musical terms and definitions, to read and to translate the text.
2. Фонетическая зарядка.
Цитаты знаменитых людей о музыке на доске. Дети читают и переводят.

2. Речевая зарядка
There is a world of music around us. Is this world large or small? It often depends on how much you know: the more you know the larger world is. (Дети работают в парах, задают друг другу вопросы об отношении к музыке)
  • Interview your friends and find out their tastes of music:
What is your favorite sort of music?
Do the people you live with and your close Friends share the same tastes in music as you?
Where and when do you listen to music?
If you could one musical instrument to be able to play brilliantly, what instrument would it be?
Do you like having background music while you are working?
How often do you do to concerts?
Do you buy records? Cassettes or compact discs? How often?
What usually makes you decide that you want to buy a certain record (disc, cassette)?
Do you have one two favorite performers (groups, orchestras) at the moments? If so, who?
What instrument do you most like the sound of?
Do you have an ear for music?

  •  Analyze the results of your interviews according to the following prints:
What music is most popular?
Are there many people who can play musical instruments and have an ear for music?
What musical performers do people prefer?
What musical instruments are the most popular?
Is music part of your friend’s life? Why?
3. Изучение нового материала
Teacher: The world of music is rich and varied, isn`t it? Match the musical terms and definitions.
(Учащиеся прослушивают отрывки из музыкальных произведений относящиеся к предложенным музыкальным стилям, угадывают их и затем читают их словесное описание и переводят на русский язык).
jazz; country music; rock`n`roll; blues; rap.
a) an American style of music based on variation. Since its beginning in the black community of New Orleans, Louisiana, USA around the turn of the century, it has continuously been involved into many different styles. The constant elements are improvisation and variation.
b) music that is popular in and originated from the southern and western United States. It has many sources: traditional ballads, cowboy songs, Mexican music and the like.
c) a style of music that was popular especially in the 1950s but is still played now. It has a strong, loud beat and is usually played on electrical instruments.
d) a type of music that has its origins in America`s black community. Most songs are about loneliness, sadness or lost love, sometimes the words express a humorous reaction to life`s troubles.
e) a musical style where the singer speaks or shouts the words.
4. Чтение тематического текста.
The history of rock and pop music in Britain and the USA includes many outstanding names and groups.
Now we will read the text p.38 ex.1.1) and answer the questions p.39 ex 1.2).
(Читают и отвечают на вопросы по истории рок и поп музыке в Британии и США)
IX. Подведение итогов урока.
