Цель урока: более глубокое усвоение знаний, высокий уровень обобщения, систематизации.
Задачи:
Образовательные: выявить качество и уровень овладения знаниями и умениями, полученными на предыдущих уроках по теме «Толерантность», обобщить материал как систему знаний.
Развивающие: развивать пространственное мышление, умение классифицировать, выявлять связи, формулировать выводы; развивать коммуникативные навыки при работе в группах, развивать познавательный интерес; развивать умение анализировать, сопоставлять.
Воспитательные: Способствовать развитию стремления быть терпимым в обществе людей, оказывать помощь людям, воспитанию интернационализма, работе в парах и группе.

Ход урока
I. Организационный момент
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls! Nice to meet you
Let’s start our lesson saying compliments to each other.
Turn to each other, touch your hands and try to say some polite words to each other.
(You are great, you are fine, you are sociable, you are kind, you are helpful etc.)
II. Работа с лексикой по теме «Толерантность» Jot Thoughts
1) Take 3 (4) small sheets of paper.
2) I’ll tell you the topic and give 40 sec. to think of 3 (4) words in this topic.
3) Then you have to say a word on the given topic aloud to your partners and write it on your paper, then put it at the desk centre.
4) Other students can’t use the word which has been said.
So, the first group writes the words relating to “tolerance”. The second group writes the words that are opposites of “tolerance”.
III. Take off – Touch down
If what I am saying is true, please, take off; if not, please, stay seated.
- We should be tolerant of people who are different from us. +
- War is a crime against humanity. +
- Discrimination, confrontation, terrorism are related to “tolerance”. -
- Liberty and justice are human rights. +
- Violence should not be tolerated. +
- Trust, solidarity and respect are the opposites of “tolerance”. -
- Wars are inhuman. +
- Equality and dialogue are related to “tolerance”. +

T: Look at the blackboard and read these questions. Discuss them in pairs with your shoulder partners.
1) Do you think that society is becoming more violent?
2) What is the possible reason for this violence?
3) What are peacemakers willing to do?

T: Write this word with different parts of your body: with your nose, with your right(left) shoulder, with your knees).
VI. Аудирование
1. Ex.133 p.142 Read and translate the sentences. Mind the meanings of the words in bold.
2. Ex.134. Listen to the story told by Wolfgang Langer. Which of the following titles is best for the story?
3. Ex. 135. Read the questions and answer them.
VII. Говорение.
T: Watch the video and then discuss in groups if it is easy, if it is important to be tolerant.
