Цель: Обобщить и систематизировать знания о достопримечательностях Лондона.
Задачи:
Образовательная: добиться усвоения учениками материала о достопримечательностях Лондона.
Развивающие: развивать навыки работы в паре, навыки говорения; развивать творческие способности и умение находить нестандартные решения.
Воспитательные: формировать у учащихся уважение к культуре других стран, воспитывать культуру общения, эстетические взгляды; формировать ценностные установки на здоровый образ жизни (физкультминутка); укреплять психологическое и эмоциональное здоровье учащихся.

Ход урока
I. Организационный момент:
Good morning, my dear children! (Действия учителя)

Today we shall have a role play. I will give you English names. For example, you will be Helen. This will be your card on the table.Could you repeat your new name, please...(Mary, Ann, Jane, Diana, Kate, Tom, Mark, Brian, Oliver…).Well, it is very nice. Oh…I see you are Londoners now.

Let me take you by the hand and walk you through the streets of London. And revise the sights of London.
I’ll show you something that will interest you. Please, look at the screen. (Показ фильма о Лондоне)
Now, my dears. I want you to work in pairs. Please write down the sights you have just seen. You have two minutes.
Now listen to the conversation (ex.75) and then complete our flower.

I see you know a lot about London. (picture of London Eye)
Look at the picture. What do you see? (London Eye). Yes, you are right. Our theme is the London Eye.
Do you know about it? (No, we don’t)
I think that you don’t know. You  see,  it is the round. It is situated on the bank of the river Thames. The London Eye is 135 metres high and turns very slowly. There are  32 comfortable  capsules for people to stand in.

To know more about the London Eye we shall learn new phrases. Look at this slide, please and repeat after me…
Now, let’s do interesting tasks. Take the card from my table and match with the verbs. Read the phrase, please.

Look at your books, please. Exercise 78, page 110. Read the text. Put the verbs in the correct form. Say what Dima bought in London as a souvenier.
You have just read about living statues. You can see them not far from  the London Eye and in your books and on the screen.(видео про живую скульптуру)
You have seen living statue. And would you like to become a living statue for 15 minutes. Who would you like to become? And now I would like you to be living statues yourselves. You will be ballet dancers. Girls, come here please. Stand like me. Now, boys your turn. You will stand like this. Try to stand still and don’t move. Perfect. Congratulations! You are ideal living statues. Thank you very much. Go to your seats, please.
