Т.: Good morning. I’m  glad  to  see  you.
We’ll have an unusual lesson today. As  you  can  see  we  have  a  lot  of  guests.

 And  now  let’s  start. On  the  last  lessons  we  had  a  topic “ Hobby”. And  a  lot  of  us  say  that  you  have  hobby “Computer”.

It  is  no  doubt, we live at the age of information technologies. Millions of people use computers at home and for work.

Т:  We speak about the Internet today. Does everyone know the history of it? Let’s remember the history of the Internet. Watch the film and pay attention to the main dates. After watching the film we will do the test.

1) The Internet is  a  great  achievement  of  mankind. But  there  are  some  pros  and  cons. What  are  they?

2) So  we  can  say  that  one of the disadvantages  of  Internet  is addiction to the Internet.

Let’s  read  the  text  about  it. At first  look  at  the  title  of  the  text: “ Caught  in  the  net”. What  do  you  think  this  text  about? Why  is  it  called  so?

(About  an  Internet-addict. It  is  called  so  because  these  addicts  can’t  live  without  the  Internet, they  are  dependent  on  it.)
