Цель урока: совершенствование коммуникативной компетенции посредством изученной лексики, грамматики на уроках английского языка.
Задачи урока:
Обучающая: актуализировать и совершенствовать имеющиеся у учащихся знания по теме “Professions”.
Развивающая: способствовать формированию умения адекватного использования лексических единиц в устной речи.
Воспитательная: способствовать воспитанию умения работать (общаться) в коллективе (классе, паре), формирование активной жизненной позиции.
Тип урока: комбинированный
Методы обучения: объяснительно-иллюстративный, частично-поисковый.
Технология обучения: технология коммуникативного обучения; применение информационно-коммуникативных технологий.
Оборудование: мультимедийный проектор, компьютер
Ход урока
I. Организационный момент:
(под песню «Учитель» учащиеся входят в класс и занимают свои места).

Teacher: Sit down, please. I think you are ready. Let’s start our lesson. As you have guessed, today we’ll speak about professions. Our theme is “Choosing a profession”. (CЛАЙД 1).
II. Речеваяразминка.
Teacher: Now you are in the age when you have to think about your future professions.
What would you like to be? And why?
What do you expect from your future job?
What is the main problem in choosing a profession?

III. Активизация лексики, грамматики в монологической и диалогической речи.
a). Teacher: You know a lot of professions. Now look at the board and try to guess some of them. (СЛАЙД 2)

b). Teacher: Now your task is to match the job characteristics with their definitions. (СЛАЙД 3)

Now stand up, please. Put your hats on. Imagine that today is your last day of your school life. Listen to an American girl, who is also a school-leaver. She wants to say her last words about school and give some advice.
